A head spa at Mệ Healing is a slow hair-washing ritual centred on your scalp. Each session runs 45 to 90 minutes in a quiet boutique space in District 1, long enough for you to genuinely rest. The longer sessions add a foot soak and a neck and shoulder massage.

THE BASICS
A head spa, or gội đầu dưỡng sinh in Vietnamese, is a slow hair-washing method drawn from traditional Eastern medicine. Where an ordinary wash cleans your hair in fifteen minutes, a head spa spends 45 to 90 minutes on the scalp and the pressure points across the head, neck and shoulders, using warm water and hand pressure to release built-up tension.
At Mệ Healing every session opens with a cup of hot black bean water and closes with a blow-dry and a nourishing oil mist. In between are 45 to 90 minutes where you need not think about anything else. Mệ likes to call it the best nap of the week.
WHY MỆ

A welcome cup of hot black bean water
Every session opens with hot black bean water Mệ brews herself, served with a jar of soft homemade yoghurt. Prefer something cold? Mệ has chilled alkaline ionised water.
A warm compress the moment you lie down
As soon as you settle in, Mệ places herbal compress packs on your belly and both feet. The warmth spreads first, your body softens, and everything after lands deeper.
Fresh towels and tools for every guest
One clean towel set per guest and separately sterilised tools. The wash bed has a soft neck rest, comfortable even on the longest session.
One price, honest timing
Prices are public, VAT included, no surprise fees. The welcome and the blow-dry are not on the clock, so 45 minutes means a full 45 minutes of care.
THE RITUAL
This is the order for every head spa session. The welcome and the blow-dry are not counted in your session time, so 45, 70 or 90 minutes is time you actually spend being cared for.
NOT COUNTED IN YOUR SESSION

BEFORE THE WASH
Makeup and street dust come off before the wash begins, so the rest of the session feels genuinely comfortable and your skin can breathe.
ONE TO CLEAN, ONE TO NOURISH
Warm water runs slowly across your scalp while Mệ works each pressure point by hand. The shampoo is a line Mệ chose after a good many trials, and plenty of guests ask where to buy it for home.
WHERE MOST GUESTS DRIFT OFF
A gentle foam rinse for the ears, a full hair rinse, then a massage across the whole scalp. This is where most guests fall asleep without noticing.
NOT COUNTED IN YOUR SESSION
Fully dried and finished with a nourishing hair oil mist. This step is not on the clock either. You leave neat and ready for the rest of your day.
