THE BASICS
Vietnamese ear cleaning, or lấy ráy tai, goes well beyond clearing the ear canal. It is a slow sequence: a look inside, careful removal one layer at a time with a personal tool set, then pressure-point work around the outer ear, where a dense cluster of nerve endings sits. Many guests say that second half feels even better than the cleaning itself.
At Mệ Healing every session opens with a cup of hot black bean water and closes only once you have rested enough. In between are 45 to 50 minutes where you need only close your eyes. Mệ likes to say this is the service guests fall asleep in most often.
WHY MỆ
Ear cleaning asks for a steady hand and absolute cleanliness. Mệ does not rush it, and never shares tools between guests.
A personal tool set for every guest
The set is sterilised and opened in front of you. Never reused, never shared. This is the rule Mệ keeps most strictly.

Our therapists are trained to work slowly under a lamp. No digging, no probing deep, nothing that makes you flinch.
Pressure-point work, not just cleaning
Once the ear is clear comes the pressure-point work around the outer ear and a tool massage. This is the part most guests look forward to.
One price, honest timing
Prices are public, VAT included, no surprise fees. The welcome is not on the clock, so 50 minutes means a full 50 minutes of care.
THE RITUAL
This is the order for the 50-minute Ear Cleaning session. The welcome is not counted in your session time, so 50 minutes is time you actually spend being cared for.
NOT COUNTED IN YOUR SESSION
Mệ serves a cup of hot black bean water she brews herself, with a jar of soft homemade yoghurt. Prefer something cold? There is chilled alkaline ionised water. Nobody rushes you, and the clock only starts once you are ready.
FROM THE FIRST MINUTE
The moment you settle in, Mệ places herbal compress packs on your belly and both feet. The warmth spreads first, your body softens, and every step after lands deeper.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
Mệ uses a dedicated light to check the condition of your ears, then opens the sterilised tool set right in front of you. Mệ tells you what she sees beforehand so you know what to expect.
THE HEART OF THE SESSION
Every movement is done slowly and checked carefully under the lamp. If anything feels less than comfortable, just say so and Mệ will adjust it right away to suit you best.
WHERE MOST GUESTS DRIFT OFF
Pressure points around the outer ear are worked by hand, then the ears are massaged with a dedicated aromatic oil. This is where most guests fall asleep without noticing.
THE FINAL STEP
Mệ finishes by cleansing the ears with a dedicated ear-cleaning foam and saline solution, so your ears are clean and dry before you leave the bed.

If your ear is painful, discharging, has a perforated eardrum or recent surgery, please see a doctor first
If you have a middle ear infection or are using ear drops, please wait until it has fully cleared
